Our two girls and their families, along with Barbaras sisters, live in California, so we have plenty of company. After a full career in our Army, I managed a Northern California medical group for about five years. Then worked for a short time with a Silicon Valley start-up, and then served as Dean of Education at a
two year business
college in San Francisco. From 1997-2001 I worked for a communications
company, CellNet Data Systems, which was purchased in 2000 by Schlumberger.
In 2001 I became the Director of Public Works in Daly City, CA. In San
Francisco served with a number of non-profit boards, to include Goodwill, Boy Scouts, Jewish camps, university. Barbara and I play tennis reasonably, and I golf badly.
I retired from the City of Daly City on Wednesday,
October 31, 2007 after a six year tour as Director of Public Works |
