Vita: | After graduation, I spent 10 years in the Corps of Engineers, including 2 years at MIT, where I received two masters degrees, and three years teaching in the Physics Department at USMA. I worked for Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation for 24 years, primarily in the design and construction of nuclear power plants. I was the Project Manager for the $3.2 billion River Bend Nuclear Power Plant (Louisiana) during its design, construction, and commercial operation from 1979 1986. I was the manager of the Project Management and Cost & Scheduling Departments at the Stone & Webster Cherry Hill, NJ, office prior to a three-year temporary assignment in La Jolla, CA, in the early 90s. I took early retirement in 1997 while working for BE&K Delaware. Joyce and I enjoy vacationing in Florida, as well as various places in the USA and Europe. We are both involved in various volunteer activities for our church and community. |
