Vita: | Retired after 22 years, and worked as a sub-system manager on the Space Shuttle Program. Work involved the Thrust Vector Control (steering system) of the shuttle boosters. Had enough of programming, engineering, budgeting, briefings, etc., so I retired again in 1996. Now I work when I feel like it. So far, we’ve been to Russia, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Canada, and Bermuda. In Germany, had occasion to talk to some Wehrmacht Panzer veterans and decided I was born too late. |
