E-mail Newsletter Sponsorship Program

If you are interested in taking advantage of the power of the Internet to promote your business, why not try sponsoring one of the Association of Graduates’ E-mail newsletters. Sponsoring a newsletter will enable you to deposit a link to your homepage in thousands of inboxes where more information about your firm is just a click away. All of our newsletters are distributed with Lyris list server software guaranteeing fast, reliable deliveries with automatic reports to let you know exactly how many messages were accepted for delivery.

Is sponsoring an E-mail newsletter right for your organization?

The Association of Graduates is currently publishing four newsletters for sponsorship. They are:

The Long Gray Line list is our premier list that is distributed electronically to all graduates, former cadets, and widows of graduates who maintain their E-mail address on file at the Association of Graduates. The remaining lists are self-selected by the individual based on interests.  All of the list members have the common interest of a love of the U.S. Military Academy and all it stands for.  This makes list sponsorship ideal for a business to consumer type of firm – especially if the business is related in any way to West Point. List members are also aware of and appreciate the honesty and integrity of graduates making it a medium that speaks volumes if you make it clear that a graduate stands behind the sponsoring organization.

With such an exclusive membership receiving the Association of Graduates newsletters, the Association of Graduates reserves the right to approve all content submitted by sponsoring organizations. Additionally, the Association of Graduates reserves the right to selectively reject sponsorship requests from any organization that it believes would reflect adversely on the Association of Graduates or be detrimental to its goodwill. In keeping with the policies of the Assembly Magazine, tobacco and alcohol advertisements will not be allowed.

What you get for sponsoring a newsletter.

Your short advertisement will be placed immediately following the content of the newsletter, the AOG will provide the introduction consisting of “This issue of ‘list-name’ is sponsored by ‘firm name’”. The sponsoring organization may then add up to 240 characters of text beneath the introduction. The expectation is that you will include a web site or phone number that readers may use to gain additional information and take advantage of your services. Immediately after the first delivery attempt, you will receive a summary report to document the number of messages delivered. Your report will be similar to one shown below.
