Joint Career Services
The following services are operated in cooperation with the alumni organizations of the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy:
Service Academy Business Resource Directory : SABRD. A premier business-to-business and career transition directory, now listing more than 33,000 service academy graduates in the world of business. The SABRD is superb for networking. The 2005 edition of SABRD is still available for sale through Career Services (copies are limited). The Internet version (www.iSABRD.com) is updated continuously online.
Service Academy Career Conference : SACC. A career seminar and job fair exclusively for service academy graduates. In 2007, SACCs are being hosted in Washington, DC (May); San Diego, (August); and Austin (November). This year's Arlington SACC is expected to draw 150 employers and more than 600 candidates. The SACC is an ideal venue for meeting with employers who value service academy educations and military service, as well as learning about career fields and industries.
Joint Service Academies Jobs Electronically : JSAJE/JSARDS. An Internet-based job-posting and Résumés-posting service. Employers pay a nominal fee. Graduates may post their Résumés and search the listings free of charge.
