Dear Classmate:
We are
offering for purchase the class crest pins, class ties, and class print note
cards remaining from our 40th reunion. The sale is first come, first served
until all are sold. (Quantities shown below are as of 12/11/2003.)
I have
11 class ties. They were given to the guys
at the reunion and are 100% silk. The tie is gray with wide black
stripes and narrow gold stripes on either side of the black stripe and our
class crest centered near the bottom. The cost is $22 per tie.
I
have 5 boxes of class print note cards. The note cards are 4 5/8" by
6½". Each box has ten cards. The class print -- One Flag, One Country, One
Destiny -- by Don Stivers is on the front of the card.
The cost is $9 for the first box, $8 for the second -- the max I can mail in
one order is two boxes.
If you would like to purchase any of these items,
please contact me by sending me an e-mail at
eabrown@erols.com as soon as
possible to ensure I have inventory remaining. At that time, I'll send you
ordering information.

Class Gift Dedication
Reconciliation
Plaza, the Class of 1961 Class Gift was presented to the United States
Military Academy in a Dedication Ceremony on Friday, October 5. The
Plaza is a memorial which commemorates the reconciliation between the North
and the South and is dedicated to our Classmates who gave their lives in
service to our Nation - those who died as a result of action during the
Vietnam War and those who died in military accidents in time of war.
It also honors the members of the Classes of May and June 1861 who died
as a result of action during the Civil War. LTG William J. Lennox,
Jr., Superintendent, USMA, accepted this memorial.
The principal speaker for the dedication
was Pat C. Hoy II. His address, entitled "Reverberations", deeply
touched all present. Click
