Canada and Alaska offer an unending panorama of rain forests, glaciers, fjords, and white-capped peaks creating a setting
that's perfect for viewing whales and sea lions.
July 26 KETCHIKAN, ALASKA

pm In addition to being the jumping-off point for seaplane excursions into the Misty Fjords National Monument and its 2.2 million
acres of wilderness, Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit tribe. A "must see" here is the world's
largest collection of totem poles.
July 28 HUBBARD GLACIER, ALASKA

Hubbard Glacier in Yakutat Bay is the largest tidewater glacier on the North American continent. It is always moving
and was recorded at an amazing 130 feet per day in 1986.
July 29 JUNEAU, ALASKA

This tranquil fishing village was once part of the Russian empire. Gaze over Crescent Bay and catch a glimpse of the onion-domed
Russian cathedral from high atop Castle Hill. Visit the Sitka National Historical Park, commemorating the spot where native
Tlingits and Russian settlers fought to the bitter end. Ironically, the strife of the past has led to the creation of an
eclectic community that reflects its Tlingit, Russian and American roots.
July 31 INSIDE PASSAGE, ALASKA
Saturday As you retrace your way down the Inside Passage, you'll have a final day to enjoy the spectacular scenery and perhaps catch
one last glimpse of soaring eagles, bear, whales or other wildlife.
August 1 VANCOUVER – HOME
Sunday Arrive Vancouver and disembark, 7 am.
Transfer to airport for your return flight home.

longer is able to hold a block of staterooms for us on the aft portion of the Vista Deck.
As of 1/22/2004 these are the number and types of staterooms still available for this cruise:
Category 1B - Premium Ocean-view with Veranda ($1825);
6 - Category 2A - Deluxe Ocean-view with Veranda ($1900);
(As of 1/8/2004 the price for this type stateroom was increased from $1800 to $1900.)
(Category 2A is the same as the Category 2B, but one deck higher and thus a little more in
price.)

Reservations: A deposit of $250.00 per person is required at time of booking
and should be made as soon as possible
to reserve a stateroom near those that were set aside for us
and
for the Class to get full credit for the booking. The longer
you wait, the greater the impact of "availability" might be.
(This can impact the price of the cruise as fewer staterooms are available.) So book as
early as you can to be sure of where you will be on board relative to the rest of
your Classmates.
The balance is due May 16, 2004.
For cancellations within 70 days of sailing, the following charges apply: 69-30 days
prior, $250.00 per person; 29-15 prior, 50% of total price; 14-0 days, no refund.
Airfare from home city will be quoted on request.
Trip insurance is available and is highly recommended.
