On Monday, 26 July 99, Walt Claassen passed away in Philadelphia as the
result of a heart attack. |
On Thursday, 29 July 99 (1400 – 1600 hrs and 1800 – 2030 hrs) there will be a viewing and wake for our classmate Walt Claassen. It will be at the Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd (at Edsall Rd), Springfield, VA (about 1 mile west of the I-395/Edsall Rd interchange), ph 549-0074. |
On Friday, 30 July 99 (1100 hrs) there will be a funeral service for Walt at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 6222 Franconia Rd (east of Springfield Mall and on the north side of road), Springfield, VA, ph 971-4378. |
On Wednesday, 4 August 99 (1500 hrs) there will be the interment at Arlington
National Cemetery. Guests should meet NLT 1450hrs at the Memorial Gate and form a procession behind the white hearse that will have arrived earlier. The Memorial Gate is at the west end of Memorial Drive which runs west from the Arlington Memorial Bridge and circle. |
