Bruce never recovered from his coma and has left the battlefield for a more peaceful world. What a distressing way to mark the anniversary of 9/11!
Barbara was supported these past few days by her family and loyal classmates and wives.
Our heartfelt thanks to Tom & Janice Leach and Don Anselm who were there to lend comfort when it was needed most.
Barbara's mailing address is: Barbara Lammers 3112 Greystone Drive; Owens Crossroads, AL 35763.
Future messages should go to: Don Anselm GMW-F SETA or email to:

Remembrances:
The Long Grey Line is now one tough soldier longer. For my part, Bruce is still with us -- the sound of
his cheerful humor from the ranks of Company G-1 still echoes in my mind.
In brotherhood, The Flying Finn Co. G-1, Number One in Second to None
Bruce, a star man like I was, we wore them on our bathrobes, had this to say several years ago in the
Network '61 Directory, "If I were eloquent enough to distill life, success and happiness down to fifty words, I'd do it.
Obviously, that is beyond the scope of an English Turnback. But I know one ingredient, friendship! And I'm pleased to have
the friendship of '61 SECOND TO NONE to reflect upon."
We have lost a friend today, but his friendship will be with us always. Our prayers are for Barb, Pele and Brandi. May they feel our strength in
them and may they realize that they are a part of our family forever.
