July 11 ,2007 Dear Class of 1961 Cruise Participant: Thank you for allowing Worldtek Travel the opportunity to manage your 05-12 October, 2008 West Point Class of 1961 Mini-Reunion on the Viking Romantic Danube Cruise from Nuremburg to Budapest. The best way to discover the heart of Europe is to travel along its great rivers and there is no better way to do it than aboard a deluxe Viking River cruise ship. Enclosed you will find your Travel Insurance Certificate. For your protection, the Class opted to purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance for the cruise, which includes the pre-existing conditions exclusion (see enclosed certificate). The insurance covers 9 to 15 days of travel up to a maximum of $3000 per traveler. If, after adding your air and pre or post land packages (optional) the amount should exceed $3000, you will have the opportunity to purchase additional coverage which will be separate from the enclosed cruise payment schedule. Please consult your Class of 1961 web site for updated details and information on the itinerary, optional land programs, etc. Worldtek will be coordinating the Viking optional land programs to Prague and Budapest before and after the cruise. For more on these programs, or to sign up, please email me at e.korzick@worldtek.com. Since flights can only be reserved beginning 330 days prior to departure, in mid-October you should begin inquiring about airfares. Group rates may be available based on the number of people traveling from the same gateway city. You can contact us at any time to determine the best available airfare. Once your air travel is in place, offers of Viking group arrival and departure transfers in Nuremburg and Budapest respectively, with included services, will also be available. Of particular significance is Viking River's Cruise "Policy Statement: Guests with Special Needs." The Viking policy is posted on the Class of 1961 website. Please read it carefully for action if appropriate. Pay particular attention to motorized scooters and wheelchair usage. Although motorized scooters and wheelchairs are allowed on board, it is important to note there are no elevators on the vessel and the passenger must be able to get up and down the gangway without use of these vehicles. The payment schedule for your cruise will consist of five payments, the first of which has already been paid. Your payment schedule is enclosed with this letter. We will mail you an invoice prior to each due date. Payment should be made by check payable to Worldtek Travel and sent to 111 Water Street, New Haven, Ct, 06511. Other purchases will be billed separately. Be sure your passport is in order and valid for at least 6 months from your date of travel. Any changes to your address or email should be sent to me at Worldtek Travel. Should you have questions regarding the information provided in this letter, or need additional assistance, contact me at 800-243-1723 between 9AM and 530PM, Monday through Friday, Eastern Time or email me at e.korzick@worldtek.com. Once again, Worldtek Travel looks forward to working with you on your exciting Mini-Reunion adventure! Elma Korzick |
