1.  The story I would have written had I been a reporter covering the event, and
   2.  An article that I wrote for Baltimore Sun on Transformation.  The Sun decided not to publish it saying that it was to focused on the military and their general readership would not understand it.  I leave that to others to decide.

240+ classmates, spouses, friends and children attended Ric's Retirement ceremony today.  In spite of a threatening forecast the weather was beautiful, a perfect end to 38 years of service to the Army and the nation.  Ric's farewell speech was both moving and inspiring.  For those of you unable to attend, the text of Ric's speech can be found at http://www.army.mil/leaders/CSA/CSAFarewell/farewellremarks.htm.

Strength and Drive is extremely proud of its next to last member to leave active duty.
