Dear Graduates and Parents,
The WPSNS just had a great Founders Day Dinner at the Clarion Hotel in Shepherdstown, WV. The youngest Grad was Barry Sievers 88 and the oldest Grad was Sam Patten 40. Our featured speaker was John Norton 41. They discussed how West Point and the Army have changed over the years and what the future holds.
Next year will be our bicentennial celebration, and all West Point Societies around the globe will grip hands at the same time. There will be a live webcast from West Point during our dinner. Make sure to attend this once in a lifetime experience! Mark your calendar, now, for 16 March 2002.
Our Society is planning several social events throughout the year, including a West Point Day at the Charles Town Racetrack. We have been having 0730 breakfast at Dennys in Charles Town one Saturday a month, next one on 12 May. Come join us.
Our membership year starts on Founders Day. If you havent already done so, send your dues to the Treasurer of WPSNS. The fee is only $10, which will help us run the Society and recruit top-notch young men and women for the Academy. Send your check along with your name, spouse, class year, snail and e-mail addresses to:
